Weis Rabbit Precision Replicas LTD is owned and operated by me, Spencer Weisbrod. I am a Red Seal machinist with 9+ years of professional experience focused mainly on CNC milling and 4-axis work.
The shop is built around lean manufacturing principles and that makes my goal simple: remove as much waste as possible in and around the machining process. A smooth flowing shop allows me to deliver parts faster while keeping shop stress to a minimum.
I use a clear process for quoting, setup, machining, inspection, and shipment. The goal is to catch problems early, reduce wasted motion, and keep the work moving without chaos.
Customers should not be paying for me to search for tools, chase missing information, or figure things out halfway through a job. They should be paying for the work that adds value to their parts.
Weis Rabbit Precision is best suited for small machined components where setup quality, tolerances, and process discipline matter. Typical work includes:
The shop is especially well suited to one-off parts and small batches, commonly in the 1 to 100 piece range. Larger quantities are possible depending on the part and schedule.
For turned work, the shop can produce select small components under 1 inch diameter, typically with a length to diameter ratio below 4 to 1. This is a strong fit for short pins, bushings, spacers, standoffs, and small shafts.
Small parts mean different things to different industries. Even between machinists, one will call a turbine housing 'small' while the other calls anything that doesn't need a microscope 'large'. In this case, small parts fit comfortably in the hand, generally around 6 inches and under in most dimensions.
Quoting is free and parts outside the normal range will still gladly be reviewed for fit.
The shop's primary production machine is a 2022 Haas TM-1P equipped with an HRT100 rotary. This is a smaller machine, and that is intentional. It is the right machine to prove the process and remove waste before scaling into faster and larger equipment.
I chose Haas because I wanted a North American-made machine with a proven ecosystem, strong online support, and a large base of real-world knowledge behind it. I want to spend time cutting parts, not troubleshooting.
Weis Rabbit Precision also uses support equipment, including a P1S 3D printer and 14x40 manual lathe, for fixture development and shop improvements rather than as standalone production services.
