About the shop

Small-batch CNC machining with a lean, improvement-first approach.

Weis Rabbit Precision Replicas LTD is based in Red Deer and set up to support practical job shop work across Central Alberta. The focus is small parts, clean communication, and getting from quote to machining without unnecessary drag.

Typical quantities

Best fit is usually 1 to 1000 parts, with a strong preference for 1 to 100 where quick setup decisions matter.

Part envelope

The sweet spot is fist-sized parts or smaller, especially where 4-axis work and standardized tooling can keep the job efficient.

What you get

Machining experience, CAM support, manufacturability recommendations, and a quote process centered on practical next steps.

Good fit for the shop

  • Small machined components in aluminum, steel, or stainless.
  • Prototype, bridge, and low-volume production quantities.
  • Jobs where quick communication and reliable scheduling matter.
  • Customers who want manufacturability input without outsourcing engineering.

Best information for quoting

  • A toleranced drawing, even if the tolerance scheme is simple.
  • Target quantity and material.
  • STEP or IGES geometry when available.
  • Any deadline, finishing requirement, or feature that is especially critical.

Background

The shop is led by a machinist with more than 10 years of experience and Red Seal certification. The operating mindset is steady improvement, straightforward expectations, and respect for the customer’s time.

We do CAM work and can make recommendations for manufacture, but we do not position engineering as a standalone service. The focus is practical parts, built well, with less hassle around the process.
